for Bubble Day
Objective:
The
students will move to music.

Materials
- Soft Music
- A wide open space
|
Procedure
- Discuss the floating
movement of bubbles. Compare the movement of a
bubble to soft, flowing music.
- Play music and have the
students imitate floating bubbles. Abruptly stop
the music and have them "Pop" by crouching
down quickly on the floor.

Other
Lesson Ideas
- Go outside and blow
bubbles. Challenge the students to run through
them or try to catch and/or pop them. To make
lots of bubbles, have half of the class blowing
bubbles while the other half is running through them.
