Movement Lesson
for Ladybug Day
Objective:
The students will play a game of
Ladybugs Capturing Aphids.
|
Materials
|
Procedure
-
Divide
the class in half. One half of the class will be
ladybugs and the other half aphids. The ladybugs
should flap their arms to imitate a flying bug.
The aphids should keep their arms down at their sides
as they run. (This is how the students will
determine who is a ladybug and who is an aphid.)
-
The
ladybugs will try and tag the aphids. Once the
aphids are tagged, they will become ladybugs and try
to capture the rest of the aphids. Continue
playing until everyone is a ladybug.
