for Ladybug Day
Objective:
The students will create ladybugs.

Materials
|
Procedure
-
Discuss
the different parts of a ladybug - head, antennae,
legs, spots, etc. Look at some pictures of
ladybugs in books or at ladybug web sites.
-
Have
the students create ladybugs by starting with the red
ovals for the body. They may then create the
antennae, head, legs, etc. from the black paper.
-
To
complete the ladybugs, have the students make spots by
dipping their fingers in black paint and using
fingerprints for spots.
