Objective:
The
students will march in a parade.

Materials
- A wide, open space.
- The flags made in the Art
Lesson.
- A recording of some
"marching music"
|
Procedure
- Discuss parades and what
they entail.
- Put on the marching music
and have the students form a parade with their created
classroom flags.

Other
Lesson Ideas
- Have the students imitate
being a flag in different types of wind. What
will they do if there is no wind, just a little wind,
or big wind gusts? How will the wind affect
their movement?
- Play Capture the Flag.
- Sing "The Star
Spangled Banner".
