for Cloud Day
Objective:
The
students will imitate cloud movement.

Materials
|
Procedure
-
Discuss how
clouds can either move slowly across the sky or more
quickly, depending on the amount of wind.
-
Play the
soft music and have the students imitate slow moving
clouds.
-
As a
contrast, play the fast music and have the students
imitate faster moving clouds.

Lesson Ideas
-
Using
sidewalk chalk, have the students draw large clouds on
an open outdoor space. They can then jump from
cloud to cloud.
-
Have the
students jump as high as they can and try and
"touch the clouds".
